Punjab: Cutting a tree at home will be heavy, there will be a fine of up to 50 thousand rupees; Know the new rules

In Punjab, the Cabinet has approved the 'Punjab Preservation of Trees Bill 2026'. Under the new rules, 10 saplings will have to be planted for cutting trees and a fine of up to 50 thousand rupees will be imposed for violation.
